Portrait - Musculature Study

Charcoal on toned paper, working from a model and anatomical diagrams provided in class. Study of the underlying features of the face.

Didn't seem fair to upload it to my new gallery but not DA, even though it's not what I usually show off here. This piece is roughly life-size-ish and I think it looks more impressive in person than photographed ... which is surprising, considering the paper got rained on before I could get it to class and got a little warped on the upper half.

The model liked this one. That really gives me the warm fuzzies to know.
